Fall 2020 Online Professional Learning Courses Now Open for Registration

Free high-quality online professional learning courses for educators are now open for registration for the fall 2020 session, which starts October 5. The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation is offering six courses and a series of modules that cover a variety of topics aimed to support educators in their practice, especially as it relates to remote teaching and learning. During this fall session, there will be two new course offerings that are built around the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Practice Guides for teaching math to youth children and teaching K-8 English learners.

Every course is designed with educators in mind. Courses are self-directed, peer-supported, project-based and allow for blended learning opportunities. They are flexible and can be accessed at any time, in any place and on any device.
