Anna Spangler Nelson is the chairman of Spangler Companies, Inc. She received a B.A. in economics from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She serves on the boards of the C. D. Spangler Foundation, BEST NC, myFutureNC, Read Charlotte, Charlotte Center City Partners and Harvard Board of Dean’s Advisors. She has also served on the boards of the Knight Foundation, UNC Board of Governors, Charlotte YMCA, Novant Health and various educational support organizations.
