Representative David Willis

Representative David Willis represents District 68 (Union County) in the NC House of Representatives. He serves as chair of the Education K-12, Appropriations-Education, and Digital Assets Committees, and as vice chair of the Appropriations Committee. He also serves on the House Select Committee on Helene Recovery, the House Select Committee on Blockchain, Homeland Security and Military and Veterans Affairs, Housing and Development, and Alcoholic Beverage Control. He gained state recognition for founding Wounded Heroes Day. Prior to his service in the legislature, he worked in banking, finance, and manufacturing for more than 15 years. He holds degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from Appalachian State University, as well as a degree in Early Childhood Education. He is a member of the Union County Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board and the Waxhaw-Weddington Rotary Club.
