Senator Brad Overcash represents District 43 (Gaston County) in the NC Senate. He serves as chair of the Senate Education/Higher Education Committee, the Education/Higher Education Appropriations Committee, and the Senate Elections Committee, as well as a member of the Senate Finance, Judiciary, and Commerce and Insurance Committees. He is a partner at Parker Poe in Charlotte, NC, where he maintains a litigation practice. He is the former chair of the Gaston College Board of Trustees and has been active in many capacities in Gaston County.
