Representative Tricia Cotham represents District 105 (Mecklenburg County) in the NC House of Representatives. She serves as chairman of the Appropriations-Education and Education K-12 committees and as vice chairman of the Appropriations, Health, and Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House committees. She is also a member of the Election Law, Energy and Public Utilities, and Housing and Development committees. She earned her B.A. in history from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and her master’s degree in school administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her professional experience includes working as a teacher, assistant principal, and athletic coach in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
