PTMT – Impact

In addition to creating high-quality materials, the PTMT project has impacted the professional learning of 250+ mathematics teacher educators, and subsequently, over 6,000 teachers have been prepared with PTMT materials. As of 2019, our materials have reached educators in 35 states and 15 countries from around the world.

The project team regularly presents at conferences and conducts webinars. Team members have completed theses and dissertations and we have published articles on the PTMT approach and results from empirical studies regarding teachers’ learning with PTMT materials. Our collaborative approach to materials development and research is one of the hallmarks of the PTMT values for impacting change in mathematics teacher education.

This page displays the publications from the project since 2008. They are organized by type: research articles, practitioner articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
