Current and Alumni Intern Experiences

Kita Adams

Kita Adams is a psychology major with minors in Africana Studies and Spanish. She was involved in multiple organizations and programs during her time at NC State, including the Living and Learning Village Students Advocating for Youth (SAY), serving as the vice president of the Multicultural Youth Educators Network and as the director of university affairs for the NC State student government. She loves working with children, especially in a school setting, as she would like to get her Ph.D. in school psychology.

Jimmy Aleman

Jimmy is a business administration major with a concentration in information technology. During his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, participating in sports and spending time with the family.

Yussef Guerrab

Yussef Guerrab is a quantitative behavioral science major who has a passion for addressing and resolving educational inequality. With minors in mathematics, statistics and business administration, he hopes to one day continue on to a Ph.D. program and become a professor.

Lindsay Hann

Lindsay Hann is a psychology student who began her college career as an elementary education major. After seeing the impact she could make on the community as an intern in this educational research program, she changed her major to psychology and plans to attend graduate school in the future in an educational research-related field.

Njogu Ndirangu

Njogu Ndirangu is a senior political science major. After graduation, he plans to attend graduate school to obtain a degree in international studies.
