Do you offer financial assistance or scholarships?

Yes. Parents must submit an application for financial assistance. Additionally, supporting documents may be required. Please contact the MSEN Office by email to request a scholarship at [email protected].

Will participation in this program directly assist my child with admissions into NC State University?

No. Participation will not guarantee acceptance into NC State. However, participation improves students’ college readiness and exposure to STEM content.

What is the student application process for the NC-MSEN PCP?

To qualify, students must have an overall “C” average in their core courses (math, science, language arts, social studies) if they are in middle school or a 2.0 GPA overall or higher if they are in high school. As part of an online application, students will be required to write a STEM essay to show their interest in STEM. Parents will be required to attend an MSEN informational session.
