This 2-day event is designed to connect researchers, educators and leaders from across North Carolina involved in the Advanced Teaching Roles (ATR) program. This convening is part of a large-scale mixed-methods study aimed at understanding and improving the selection and evaluation of Advanced Teachers.

During this event, researchers and practitioners will discuss key attributes and core competencies of Advanced Teachers; relationships between Advanced Teacher characteristics, selection criteria and desired program outcomes; and data-informed processes and tools for the selection and evaluation of Advanced Teachers.
