The convening, Computer Science: It’s Definitely Elementary, brings together representatives from Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) around the state to meet with district and school leaders (including teachers!), to build a community that supports teacher and student access to computer science (CS) by addressing challenges to teaching, facilitating, and integrating computer science into elementary grades.

Whether your role is in higher education, at the district level in a school system, or if you are school-based, we need YOU and your voice! This will be a highly interactive event for you to share your expertise and opinions to help us achieve the goals of:

• Promoting Access –Expand CS/AI opportunities for all NC students.
• Building Community –Connect educators, Public School Units, and partners.
• Addressing Challenge –Co-create solutions that support teachers and students.
• Identifying Resources – Share curriculum and tools for classroom integration.
